Publishing website with custom url

Hello everyone. I have purchased a custom URL domain from Google Domains. I own the domain, but can not for the life of me figure out how to simply connect it to the web page I have created for it. Are there any useful guides that aren’t from several years ago and obsolete? I can not find any sort of resources or help on this. It’s a very simple 1 word www. domain. Can anyone steer me in a proper direction to figure this what should be very simple issue out?
