How to make a dropdown field searchable by typing? That instead of going though a long list of items, let the user search an item by typing.

Not in the form, unfortunately.
But you can build similar functionality by using input + list (filtered by input’s value) or input + dropdown.

Yes. But its a relative property. Users can only choose from the list.
