Earlier today, a small number of Makers experienced intermittent 503 Service Unavailable errors. We want to share what we saw and what we believe caused it.
What happened ![]()
Between 8:10am and 9:40am ET, we received reports of 503 errors and began investigating right away. Our team reviewed internal monitoring, logs, and traceroutes and confirmed that Adalo infrastructure remained healthy throughout.
While we were investigating, the issue resolved itself and affected apps began responding normally again. Around the same time, we also saw an increase in external reports related to AWS connectivity as shown on the DownDetector Site, which lined up with what we were seeing.
Impact ![]()
Only a small subset of Makers were impacted, and the behavior was intermittent rather than a full outage.
Root cause ![]()
Based on our findings, this was most likely caused by an upstream connectivity issue within AWS. No changes were required on the Adalo side.
Thanks for your patience and for flagging this quickly. We know interruptions are frustrating and we appreciate you bearing with us while we dug in ![]()
