Copied App using shared database, gave new App new name and Icon, but when I preview with Share Your Test App it still has old App information and goes to old App.
I see someone had the same problem May 2023, but don’t see a resolution.
Any help would be appreciated!
Yes, I confirm. I’ve had this issue for a long time. Moreover, after some time it recurred—even if there was a working copy of the app and a copy of that copy. Installing (reinstalling) it on different devices, I realized part of the problem lies in the uncleared caches on devices where the original was installed before the copies. However, the problem still seems to be on Adalo’s side. Why do I think so? Because miracles don’t happen—a functioning app (its clone) eventually reverts to the original version (after two or three months). Everything I’ve described here applies to the web version. In my case, the solution was to delete the original app I used to make the copy.
