I need help! I started working with a freelance developer that I was matched with through Adalo and its been a rough go of it. I’m not satisfied with the process so far and now he has hit a wall and doesn’t know how to finish the app. Is anyone out there willing to hear what I have going on and see if I can get help?

I was set up with a freelancer that has hit a wall with integrating API from an external database. It seems as if we could push through if that portion was figured out. I don’t know how developers feel about working with me since I have had another developer working on my app but here we are..

Just in case: you can browse Adalo Experts page here Find Freelance Adalo Designers, Developers, & Agencies, there are many experts there (myself included) and you can also use filters to see what additional skills does an expert have (however filters are a bit limited).
As for the issue you’re mentioning - unfortunately not all APIs could be integrated to Adalo seamlessly. In some cases the additional setup on the Adalo side might be needed. But in worst cases it is not technically possible to integrate a certain API to Adalo directly, so some intermediary “proxy” platform should be used. Anyway, that depends on the API and in difficult cases some research is needed.
As a side note - usually complex issues can be solved by someone quite experienced, with a work rate reflecting their experience.
You could also ask the question on the forum in the “Help” section, maybe someone had an experience working with this exact API already.
