Its number of characters I think.
Hi @furiousfrog Max Length is character limit of the input box and Auto Focus means when screen mounts to user then app will automatically open the keyboard and the cursor will be active for the text field so that user can directly enter the input
In your case if you enable the auto focus then when chose username screen mounts then it will open the keyboard automatically so that user can enter the username directly
