Sometimes you want to show a full record in your text component, but what if you only want to show a preview? Say, 200 characters? We just launched a new feature that allows you to set a character limit on any text component in your app. After the limit, the text will be cut off with an ellipsis…

This new feature is great for making sure the design of your lists stay clean and brief no matter the length of the text you’re pulling in from your database.

Great addition. Too bad, about 20 days ago I had to build this using flags and conditional lists/hiding objects.

Hello, is this applicable for card lists? I’ve linked a card list with a database that has a long text type component, but I can’t find the option to limit the max length of said component.
