If it’s toggled on, it might be due to a component from a 3rd party developer which hasn’t updated to work with the new React Native version. You might have to remove one by one and check if that’s the component for the cause or you can submit a support ticket which a team member can help you to find out the component for the issue.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I don’t think it’s practical to remove components one by one across 270 screens and publish the app 270 times just to identify the source of the issue.
As far as I know, I only use one or two third-party components, and I haven’t added any new ones since the last build. That makes it even less likely that a newly added component is causing the problem.
Also, if third-party components aren’t fully compatible, why does Adalo allow them in the first place?
On top of that, the app’s performance is extremely poor right now. I’m not even able to save a version or restore a previous one, which makes troubleshooting nearly impossible.
Yes, that’s correct and by submitting a ticket, a team member can help you to find the component or the part which causes that error.
There’re components which are already live but the code not updated with the new changes so the component developer needs to update and publish a new version for the team to review and approve.
By performance, did you meant the editor/builder or the live app?
and like i said, i am not able even to save a version and restore it back, so the builder even is not performing as it should be, every time i try to restore, it gives error. i reached out to support team but unfortunately could not fix the issue.
Regarding the restore version error, support team said to clean the complex screens, i did but the problem still exist, i have another app with more complex screens and restore is working normal. Regarding the publish error, they said to delete all the builds and try again. I did but it did not help. Like i said, i keep getting issues and issues, simple image lists even BUILT by adalo even does not fit in the screens.
