Hello everybody, hope y’all are doing well.
A while back, Adalo CTO Jason shared a post about Google’s 16KB page size requirement and why Android apps need to republish with the new React Native version to keep submitting to the Google Play Store.
To guide and encourage you, we’ve now added a banner in the Publish tab for the apps that are still running with the older version of React Native!
If you haven’t switched yet, we recommend doing so! Head over to the Settings tab in the left panel > click on the ‘Trouble with React Native?’ section > enable the toggle and republish your app. The new React Native version brings better speed and stability, helps avoid build failures, and it’s the version we’re actively supporting going forward.
One note: Some older marketplace components may not be fully updated yet for the new architecture or version yet. If you run into a build issue after switching, please submit a support ticket and our team will help you sort it out!
Thank you and have a great day!
