I just received a similar message from Google Play. The message stated, “The SDK developer androidx.fragment has reported fragment:1.0.0 as outdated. Consider upgrading to a newer version.”
Yup same here - guess I’d better open a ticket, as much as @CH_Team have redirected me to the forums to solve issues they can’t about their own product, it’s hard to see who else could help with it.
Hi,
Is there any update on this topic?
I got the same message today.
My question is also - does it impact the review by Google?
Normally I had apps reviewed within a day or two; now three passed and there is no change of status.
Is it OK (as Google has up to 7 days for review) or this is the reason for the delay - does anybody know?
Hi,
Just as a follow-up - I had my app just approved by Google.
It took them four days (vs. several hours previously) but it was published OK, no questions, no limitations, nothing.
So, it looks like this is just a warning and it does not impact the functionality.
And what really means this issue: ‘androidx.fragment has reported fragment:1.0.0 as outdated. Consider upgrading to a newer version’? Here is answer:
The message “androidx.fragment has reported fragment:1.0.0 as outdated. Consider upgrading to a newer version.” is likely to appear as a warning in your Android development environment.
It means that the version of the AndroidX Fragment library (androidx.fragment:fragment:1.0.0) you are currently using in your project is outdated or no longer maintained.
The Android team frequently releases updates to their libraries that can include bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features. Using outdated versions could potentially cause problems in your application or mean that you’re missing out on these benefits.
In short way - this issue is connected with trying to adapt old libraries. You can’t fix this problem. It came from Adalo side. Only they can, let’s say fix it.
With that issue you was redidercted to Forums??? That issue is Adalo problem. Only they can fix it. I wrote above what that issue means. Only they can fix it. No-one, I will repeat no-one can’t fix that issue, except Adalo. I really don’t know why they acting in this way. It’s right time for them to think about reputation.
