Instead of worrying about load balancing and performant databases, make it super easy for users to connect their own 3rd party cloud / managed database instances.
Adalo has the best no-code app building experience by far & I feel it’ll do well to focus purely on delivering this.
I must completely agree. People can freely get 10000 rows with Airtable so there is no point in completing in terms of database.
I totally agree. This could be the best no-code platform out there if they focused on App Design and API, let us build huge databases separately and let Adalo focus on design
I would agree with one caveat - the way Adalo allows the user to setup the database and connect the fields in the interface is their most valuable feature. Without this, it’s a glorified prototype builder like Figma.
What would be ideal is if you could design your database in Adalo the way it currently works, and then have some way to export the database structure over to something like Firebase, and connect the app so that all the live data is stored in Firebase.
