Android build is taking almost 1 hour (and counting)

I am new to using Adalo.

My goal is to test Push Notifications in my app. The docs say that I cannot do this unless I have at least one build of my app.

I followed all of the instructions in the docs to publish an Android app: Publishing to the Google Play Store - Adalo Resources

My build has been running for over 30 minutes and currently shows “Building: -25 minutes remaining”.

How long do builds usually take?? It looks realllly bad to show a negative time remaining. That is just shouting at me that it is taking significantly longer than expected. What gives?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Conor

This has been happening lately to me. I just try again if it doesn’t show up after another 30 minutes or so.

Hello…

I am also new to Adalo…

Today Sunday… I have had two “Runaways”… They will never finish… and adding more builds will likely make it worse… as I have done…

I purely put this down to “Weekends” when their system is at boiling point…

unfortunately you have no access to this … and you have to submit ticket for them to stop it…

My app are in excess of 42 megs and usually takes 12-14 minutes… with no issues during weekdays…

I know it’s frustrating, the UI in the editor isn’t matching the backend. The team is aware and working on it! Please feel free to queue up a new build if you’ve given it a fair opportunity, often times we do have a long build queue.

Thanks’ Ashley…

I have found the fastest way to stop this happening… and this is due to it not building anymore… no matter how many you add… (stopping at 0:0 and then going up again)

Is to just simply “Copy” the app and include share database… then the new copied app works fine (no old builds in system)… with all other old builds gone… starts fresh…

Then Delete the app that was copied…
