I published my app on android and I’m getting a frustrating bug only on my native android… I have a a list of hotels(only 1 hotel) and restaurants( 22 restaurants) in my app with a chip list on the Home Screen and when I enter the hotel list first the screen is not scrollable because it only have 1 item in the list, and when I touch back and enter the restaurants screen I can scroll through the 22 items and it still works as expected… but when I go back just after visiting restaurants and go back to hotel, the screen becomes scrollable making it a very frustrating bug…please anyone help me is this a Genral adalo bug or only specific to my app? I have the recording link here…
Hi, how are you? Did you check if there are any extra components inside the screen? That often happens… press on your screen and check the components; there might be one hidden underneath.
I once faced this kind of an issue where there was overlapping components with visibility conditions inside the list. Have you checked the components inside the list?
Hello @Dilon , my list is card list and I’ve got no visibility condition on that screen…the whole thing is weird because I don’t even have any idea how I can overcome this issue…
And I just realized this bug actually happens all around my app even with different scenarios and different lists like simple lists… after viewing a list with many items and going back to a less smaller one the screen becomes scrollable to a finite white screen (until it reaches the equivalent of the last bigger list) instead of being fixed to the items on that screen.
Thanks @Ananiya! The height is too much in the settings (normally it would be like ~ 900), could you share a screenshot of the screen to see what components are inside the screen?
Hello @Dilon The height is a bit large because I have card list on the screen and this problem also happens on much smaller screen height (613)… I have sent the images under this text… Thank you so much for your time and help🙏
This often happens to me on Android: when the list shows all the items, it looks great, but if you apply a filter, it only shows the filtered item, leaving unnecessary scrolling. I even submitted a support ticket about this once because it detects the entire list even when only one or two items are displayed.
We can’t fix it because it’s a component issue. Submit tickets and they’ll look into it.
On Android, some lists always have problems when downloading. For example, the text loses its hierarchy (you set the title to bold, but on Android it appears as medium). I’ve already sent everything for them to review because it doesn’t look very nice visually.
