App Marketing Agency

I’m looking for recommendations for a reputable app marketing agency that works well with small businesses. I need a team that can handle strategy, user acquisition, and App Store/Google Play optimization for my mobile app.

If you’ve personally worked with a great app marketing company, who would you recommend and why?

Hi Terrell!
If you’re looking for support tailored specifically for small businesses and indie founders, you might like what we do at ASO Studio.

We focus 100% on helping apps grow through:

:white_check_mark: App Store & Google Play optimization (keywords, metadata, creatives, testing)
:white_check_mark: Launch prep for small teams who don’t have marketing resources
:white_check_mark: Ongoing growth plans for improving visibility, conversions, and retention
:white_check_mark: Strategy + execution — not just reports
:white_check_mark: Fast turnaround and predictable pricing

We’ve been working with early-stage founders who need something practical, not enterprise-level pricing or vague deliverables. Results usually come within the first 2–4 weeks depending on the category.

If you want, I can take a look at your app and send a free mini-audit with opportunities and what I’d recommend improving first.

Happy to help if you’re exploring options!

I see that you cover the ASO side of things. What about app marketing?

Not that you’re looking for advice…

But as it relates to apps made on this platform, I have a few points to share.

  1. If the app doesn’t work consistently, your marketing team doesn’t matter. Make sure it’s perfect.
  2. If the app isn’t engaging, the marketing team also doesn’t matter.
  3. If the app isn’t well designed (it should be beautiful and run smoothly), your marketing team doesn’t matter.
  4. Facebook groups are a great place to advertise, depending on the app.

Good luck!

Thanks for sharing this, @mrentrekin completely agree that if the app isn’t stable, engaging, and well designed, no marketing team can fix that. I’ve been putting a lot of energy into tightening up performance, UX, and engagement first, and I’m only now starting to explore the marketing side so I don’t get ahead of myself.

Once those foundations are solid in addition to ASO, what kinds of marketing have you seen actually move the needle for indie apps (you mentioned Facebook groups…any specific communities), paid ads, partnerships, marketing agencies, etc?
