Hi everyone, I have a question. Is the “Ask mobile users to add to Home Screen” feature working properly for you?

I’ve added it to some apps and posted about it countless times, but when does it actually appear? Why does it never show up, or does it only appear sporadically? It would be great if we could add this feature ourselves, like notifications, location services, etc.

Is there any way to do it with a button? We’ve noticed that PWAs perform better than the apps we download on Android (which are MUCH SLOWER and have different fonts and button designs).

I completely agree. And the splash screen must also allow us to change the design.

I did tested that feature in the past and it worked fine for me which the popup displayed! Once you turned on the toggle, you publish the changes right?

The pop-up window works, but users who don’t speak English don’t understand it. I already created a petition to vote for that feature… one that allows us to customize it as we like with the title, button text, and icon. It’s very outdated, and users don’t understand it.
