Hi everybody!

Does anyone know how I can add background video to my app?

I want to add a background video to the welcome screen.

I have searched the forum and the documentation, but I can’t find anything about it.

Did you check out Adalo’s component market place? :point_down:

There is a video player component there that should fit your needs.

Yes, I’m using a component of the marketplace. I think you are referring to the “Plyr Video” component.

I have seen it. But I don’t know how to set this component as background.

So the example you showed me is a GIF file, this can be set as background image in your screen options.

But a GIF is technically not a video and in most cases has a maximum framerate of about 16 FPS.

If you would like to add an HD video as a background layer then yes the “Plyr Video” component is a good workaround until Adalo supports video files as BG screens :blush:

Great @Devops I just tested “Plyr Video” as a background, adding elements in the front.

This is just what I am looking for.
