Hi. I received the following message from Apple. Does anyone have a step-by-step instructions on how to fix this so that my push notifications will continue to deliver?
We’re reaching out with a final reminder that the Certification Authority (CA) for Apple Push Notification service (APNs) is changing. APNs updated the server certificates in sandbox on January 21, 2025. APNs production server certificates will be updated on February 24, 2025.
To ensure a smooth transition and avoid push notification delivery failures, please make sure that both old and new server certificates are included in the Trust Store before the cut-off date for each of your application servers that connect to sandbox and production. At this time, you don’t need to update the APNs SSL provider certificates issued to you by Apple.
Is anyone else receiving this email from Apple? I was hoping that maybe the Adalo build contains the necessary certificate, but I’ve no idea whether that’s the case. Thanks
It would be ideal if someone could post a step-by-step process of what to do here! I’m trying to work it out in the meantime. If we haven’t fixed this by 24 February, notifications won’t work.
Hello @CH_Team please can we have an update on this issue. It’s only a few days until the deadline for having this certificate in place is reached. We don’t know how to resolve the problem and don’t want to lose push notifications. Thanks
We’re actively working to ensure there are no interruptions to push notifications for any apps. Our team is reviewing Apple’s latest requirements and making any necessary updates before the deadline.
From what we’ve found so far, existing keys will continue to work, but we may need to make updates on our end to take advantage of new features from Apple.
At this time, no action is required from Adalo Makers. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to update you.
