I know this topic has been covered but I am wondering if in the last couple of years something has changed with conditions because while the logic seems correct the functionality isn’t working for me.
I am trying to display text to inform a new user when the email and or username they are entering already exists in the database.
The secondary issue I am having is that even when a username exists the accounts are still being created but I’l save that for another thread since that logic is placed in the sign up butting advanced areas. Here are the screen shots of what I have going on with the conditional messaging.
Please lmk if you have any ideas or need other pics or details. I am 99% sure it’s something incredibly simple.
