Connecting a line in a database

Hi the community,
I’m new with Adalo so I apologize if in asking something obvious but it is now a week I’m stuck…. I have look and reed tones of info but I can’t find my answer. This is why I’m asking your help.
I’m creating an app to help me to organize tennis tournament for my class mate.
I have created a user, a result, and a match collection.
First you need to create a match. So every user can see it. I have created a form for that and it works perfectly. It creates a new match in the corresponding collection. I can see the info in the correct list and it works.
In a second time I would like the logged user to be able to select later this specific match to upgrade the current collection of match.
So I have integrated a button into the match list that link to a new screen. I have a form there with 2 drop down menu and a button. When I try to upgrade the collection nothing happen. It seems the action is not connecting with the collection in the data base
…. Someone can explain me how to get reconnected to a specific line in a database to be able to upgrade it ?
Thank you very much.
Have all great day,
Geo
