Create image variation with OpenAI

Hi there,

Beginner here. I’m trying to build an image variation app using custom action feature, but I found a couple of stoppers:

• documentation for image variation in OpenAI don’t show json format to be added (https://platform.openai.com/docs/api-reference/images/createVariation)

• the custom action feature doesn’t support the ability to add an image as an input

Any idea about how to follow with it?

If it requires an actual file rather than URL, then you will need to use a 3rd party to submit the API request. Xano, Make.com etc… Have your chosen 3rd party download the file from the Adalo image URL and attach the file to the API request.

This is just a loose exploration of how it will likely function.
