Database size and images

I am planning an app where users can upload images using their phone camera. If I assume a typical image size is 5 M the 5 G equals to 1000 images for entire database assuming no compression. It looks like Adalo is using imgix for uploads and obviously compression.

How to estimate the disk space needed for app user’s uploads? I can not check that anywhere in my Adalo.

We currently have not implemented the feature to check current usage status. This is on our to-do list.

However, you are also able to host larger files externally and pull them in via custom actions or external collections to minimise your data usage.
