“In Progress”? Say it ain’t so? ![]()
Steven McKeown: Good job! The GPS component is working in Android but the GeoFilteredList it’s crashing. Would be great if you make the GeoFilteredList that is custom.
David Lakošeljac: thanks David. Yup, i released the filtered list “by devs, for devs”, my bad. I think i will get it fixed up tomorrow. Feel free to follow the progress of the fix here:
Wont be long.
Steven McKeown: Awesome!
Josh Johnson: Now this puts a smile on my face ![]()
This is the best news ever!!
Josh Johnson do you have any updates on this? It would be great if we could get an estimated timeframe so we could also align our development and business activities and decisions with that information. Thank you.
Karl K: We’re working on adding location searching/saving/retrieval all across Adalo at the moment and it’s going well. I estimate a public launch roughly six weeks into the new year. I know that sounds like a lot but we want to make sure these features are deeply integrated into Adalo and are a first class experience. We’ll get there!
Josh Johnson: I see, thank you for your reply. Now we can plan accordingly.
Will this new location functionality enable users to put a pin on the map ? Josh Johnson
Karl K: yesss
I am using Adalo to build app for customer. This is the 4th time i lose a customer because dont have this functionality ![]()
Ahmad Alabdrabalnabi: We released this months ago. Our installation server went down on Friday so you will need to manually install it yourself from our github until our server is back online.
Hola. Josh Johnson podrías actualizar el estado de lanzamiento de este componente por favor. Gracias
Hi Josh Johnson, Could we have an update on this feature? My MVP is almost ready but just waiting for the device location to be able to launch.
It would be great to have location as part of a list sorting. I mean, the items of a list would be sorted based on the proximity with the user (using user’s location).
Steven McKeown: Excellent Steven. I think it solves my problem. But how can I have access to this component? Is
it a custom made?
Rafael Roseira: Install it via the PragmaFlow Marketplace https://adalo.pragmaflowservers.com/install-component
Here is a guide to help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mo_u5EdEWw
Steven McKeown: Thank you a lot Steven. I will follow your instructions.
