Anybody knows about any app made with adalo you can download or try
Look through the contributions in App Showcase…there are many examples. This one is good
If you are in the US, PoliTorium was built entirely on adalo.
Thanks for your answer
Everytime i look for an app… it seems it does not exist anymore. All the apps other than like 2 on adalos website Is nothing. Starting to think there Is nothing good every created.
Well, I think that is mostly up to the person who built the app. If they built it say with the intention of running a business, but do not know how to run a business, a probable 99% of them give up. In a lot of cases, Adalo apps are built by a freelancer for another organization, a lot of times for internal needs. So say I build an app for Walmart for their employees to use, that is a lot of the time what Adalo is used for as well.
In my case, PoliTorium while like I said is only available in the US, we have been published in over 200 publications to include business insider, yahoo news, Tech Times, Daily Mail, etc… We have not given up by any means. We have hit MANY roadblocks, as this nocode side of developing is still new and many work arounds have to be implemented - but we’re still here.
I think in most cases, people like the idea of building apps, but then don’t want to learn or put the time into marketing and really running a company. Take it from me - I enrolled in business school and am working on an MBA because it isn’t easy to simply learn how to run a company. Depending on what your needs are, Adalo can be great. I had a very delightful and encouraging call with Adalo’s new CEO yesterday, and he informed me of some very very important things to come in Adalo’s near future.
Just remember, marketing and PR and such are probably even more important than your product itself. If you build, be prepared to market. Otherwise I promise you, no one will find your app. It will not go “viral” just because, it will take a lot of work. However just learning to develop is also super fun and a great skil lto have. To whatever you do in the future, I wish you luck!
I respect it. Funny you responded because I am literally in your app right now seeing examples of how Adalo can work. I have been using adalo for some time and want to love it. I do love it and see the potential. Super curious how you got so much exposure for your app.
I am working with a PR agency who focuses on startups, specifically specializing in App/web based startups. We’ve just begun a Meta/X marketing campaign. PoliTorium obviously still has a lot to be desired as far as cosmetics goes, I would also go as far as to include functionality in that. Currently I am a one man team - at least mostly, with some help here and there.
To me, the answer to whether or not use Adalo should be based on what sort of system you hope to build. In my particular case, I didn’t find a whole lot that Adalo couldn’t handle. My hope is by the time I am fully built up, and have a bit of an active user base, code is able to be released and I can take it off nocode and hire developers to work out the kinks and tweaks - as I’m sure there will be many when moving from NoCode to full code. From what the new CEO says, that is going to be something that will be implemented in the near future.
I would consider what roadblocks you think you may hit on Adalo with what you want to build. If it seems like there are workarounds until Adalo has a permanent solution and implementation, perhaps give it a go. If it seems some things will literally not be possible that you want to build, maybe see where Adalo stands in the future. I hope you’re able to find the platform that best suits your needs though. I know it is a headache to be told it “isn’t possible” on a platform you’ve invested a lot of time into learning.
