Field validation doesn't work?

I just heard from a user that the field validation doesn’t work. The only thing that works is name field. Is this a bug or am I missing something else? I am using Adalo form component vs custom.

It’s built-in form. I was able to solve the issue by deleting the old component and adding the component again. So weird.
