use http://sheetdb.io to create a webhook and send the data from your sheet to adalo with External Collections. If you do not have the pro plan, than use Zapier + Adalo integration and create a scenario to send data from your sheet to Adalo.
So i got it to work just using a external api collection (if it doesn’t return data the collection does not save in adalo). The problem i ran into was that the json result was in a such a format that adalo did not see any fields in the result, so it’s just a blob of data that can’t be reference in a component. 
Have you ever found a solution this? I find it annoying that people are being funneled through a par per use service for something that should be open source.
