Highlight an active item in Horizontal Chip List

Hello,

Question has already bee raised but not solved, anyone knows how to highlight an active item into the Horizontal Chip List ?

I use the horizontal list to display criteria for user to filter results and I would like to highlight one or many criterias in the list (by changing chip style) when picked up by the user.

Does anyone know how to proceed ?
