How can i create count up (days only)

Iwhat is the intended / official way to display the number of days since a stored date (for example, days between a user date field and the current date)?

I’m trying to do this with Magic Text, but I only see “No formatting” and I’m not sure where the day difference option should appear.

Could you clarify the correct approach?
