I cannot put a "Rectangle" component over an "App Bar" component

Even after clicking on the “Bring to Front” button, the rectangle doesn’t appear over the app bar.

Clicking “Send Backward” on the app bar doesn’t make the rectangle appear either.

Any help would be appreciated.

App bar by default will be at top, so any components overlap with it is hidden at runtime.

Alternatively you could create custom app bar by creating from rectangles, texts or any other components, after that group them and set to top at group styles.

Is there any way to change that? I just wanted to add a search bar to the app bar.

I am afraid that I don’t know how.

I wonder if a member of the Adalo team knows? :thinking:

Here’s how to do it:

Sorry folks, I guess this doesn’t really matter anymore. I spent a whopping four to five hours last night working in Adalo, but none of my progress was saved when I went to do something else… :sob:

If you refresh the editor it should save

That’s what I did, but it didn’t save.

did you have 2 of the same editor app tabs (the same app) open at the same time?

@plushelp Answer this question

No, I only had one tab open.

Sheesh, I was sleeping.

Okay, maybe it didn’t save your work because of your Wi-Fi.
It doesn’t save if your Wi-Fi is off.

No, I was connected to the internet the entire time.
