Info Card & Button

Why can’t I add an info card & button like I see in the side navigation bars? I search for it under components but it doesn’t exist, but it must if it’s part of the menu bar right??? And not only that, but why can’t I add components to the info card? Components like an icon or change the text to multi-line, like all the normal editorial tools don’t apply to these info cards…

Hello. What is the exact name of the component? Is it Info Card or just Card List? Because I can’t find Info Card either.

I apologize for the incorrect response. I found what you’re looking for when I went to add a new screen, and then when I scrolled down a bit, I found the screen with the Info Card List.

Do you know which heading it’s under? I can’t find a screen that looks like yours. But the thing is, I have two info cards - one on each menu - but I can’t add icons or really format it the way I want. I tried creating my own shapes and placing them on top of the menu but for some reason they’re not visible in the previewer. I’ve tried arranging them (moving them to the front) but that doesn’t seem to have any affect.

Go to add screen

scroll down

chose list

then you need to chose “What is this list a list of”

after that you will be able to see it in previwe

if you wanna to add icon then just select list and enable icons:

@LilJohnny, all good?

No, I was never able to find the same component as Domba showed in the screen shots.

You need this one which domba added a screenshot?

I was looking to add an “info card and button” combo to a rectangle that I made. Basically, the same component as found on the side navigation menu. If you install the side navigation, there is labeled an info card and button component under the group, but when searching just for the info card and button in the components by itself, it doesn’t exist, or it’s not a searchable component anyways.

Attached is what it looks like. It’s editable towards the bottom of the Setup tab on the Side Navigation group.

Thanks,

Yeah, so there’s no components like that and you have to build it by your own using rectangle, text and button components. What you’re trying to do?

Yeah, I tried making it myself and adding it on top of the navigation bar, but it wasn’t visible. Even after moving it to the front, the nav bar always hid it. So I thought maybe I needed to add a component to the nav bar, and that’s when I discovered there was no such thing. It’s not even possible to add anything to the nav bar group, such as an additional button. The nav bar is totally uncustomizable. You can edit the bar, you can hide the components you don’t want, but you cannot add. The nav bar seems to be hard-coded.

Initially, I was trying to add another info card and button to the nav bar - towards the bottom, and on top of the one you see in my screen shot.
