Hello, on an iPhone when you enter your login pin incorrectly too many times on the lock screen the iPhone locks itself for like 1 or 2 minutes. You can still make emergency calls but nothing else. I want to have a button in my app that launches that same lock screen. Is that possible through Adalo?
Hello, Launching the same lock screen cannot be linked to a button inside the app, but of course, you can restrict the number of login actions per a specific period of time inside the app.
Thank you for your help. As an alternative, is it possible to create a screen in Adalo that replicates the functionality of that lock screen? Can I make a screen that will prevent the user from opening any other apps or doing anything else?
@encurage No. Unless you had an MDM client on the device and you triggered an API call to that MDM platform from your application with the parameters of the unique device and then the MDM was able to lock the device.
Hi Ali-Bazzi, thanks for your reply. Can you tell me more about what you mean when you said “you can restrict the number of login actions per a specific period of time inside the app.” What does that mean and what would that look like? What would be the experience for the user of my app if I did that? Thank you.
