Linked collection data not available via Dropdown

I created a collection for a doctor’s profile linked to the User collection.

I am using a Dropdown to select a doctor from the collection:

When I try to use the linked User-> email address for display or update in a form, I do not get any data.

Though there is an email address maintained (see screenshot above).

@Ben @jeremy From my PoV this is clearly a bug.

Yep, definitely a bug. We’ll post an update here once it’s fixed.
