Hi this is doing my head in and I have burnt too many hours trying to find a solution. It seems such a simple thing I am wanting but I just can’t see how I can achieve it.
I want to display all of one database records contents on a screen, having selected the record through searching a list of the same database, on the same screen.
I cannot, for the life of me, see how I can quickly update or view an entire record from a database by searching on a screen. It should be a parent/child relationship, but I can’t link the two on the same screen?
I know I can go straight to the database via the left hand menu. I don’t want to access it that way, I need it accessible through a button.
So, find a record, select it, and see ALL the fields in an editable form on the same screen.
I have searched the help files and watched the videos and haven’t seen how to do it.
Can anybody help me out?
