hey @AKyle the component looks awesome and useful… for people like me that aren’t pro on adalo could you make a short video on how to set it up with the database collection.
Hi @AKyle was this video ever put together on how to configure it? I feel like I’m pretty intuitive in Adalo and I cannot figure out how to get it configured at all. I’ve tried everything and even added in dummy data to fields I don’t normally collect in the Collection I’m looking at, and I still can’t get it to show that I have an event on a date. I’ve gone through the Help page too.
Hi @vhbingham, would you be able to share a quick screen recording showing your component setup, so we can take a look to see what’s going on? Also what happens if you select no formatting for the event start & end magic text values, does it still not work?
It will only show data when Date/Time is used however this can only show me after / before / between, meaning all shifts are shown after the selected date/time.
Away from my laptop so not fully sure, I think first one works but clicking the next date (like if 14th, clicking 15th) and next one would show current + future ones. I remember, I used a date property in users collection > update logged in user, that property with component clicked date under on date selected group in actions section > used date property and is equal to the logged in user property in the list.
Will check more once I’m back at my desk and share the bugs with Kyle!
I tried with No Formatting and it didn’t show anything either.
This is my setup right now - I have it configured to look at my specific Asset and what I call PMs within them. This is with the setting of Date/Time and it still doesn’t show anything.
I did configure it to look at ALL PMs within that collection and it won’t show anything. I also created a page that is agnostic of any other data and it didn’t show anything either.
And was the event start & end fields values set to no formatting or date/time? Also just to double check, no value entered in the maximum number of items right? Looks like need a deeper look at the setup, would you be able to submit a ticket? : New Bug Form
