NoCodeMonkey- Advanced Calendar Strip Component Default Date Not Working

Has anyone used the Advanced Calendar Stripe component from NoCodeMonkey? Advanced Calendar Strip for Adalo | NoCode Monkey

I haven’t been able to figure out how the Default Date works. I’ve tried all kinds of various date formats such as:

Unix Timestamp
MM-DD-YY
MM-DD-YYYY
DD-MM-YY
DD-MM-YYYY
YY-DD-MM
YYYY-DD-MM
YY-MM-DD
YYYY-MM-DD

None of these seem to work. My expectation is the Default date would start the calendar strip at the specified date. Anyone have any tips?

Hey, I would reach out directly to NoCodeMonkey. @Michael

Tried to submit a support ticket on their site but haven’t heard back yet.

Hey, apologies for the delay. So I looked it over and it looks like we could improve the hep text for that part. We will be pushing an update in the next 24-48 hours to make this simpler.

But so you can understand how it currently works, it is a date/time prompt. So if you save a date/time in the users database, you can put it there. You shouldn’t have to change the format or anything. You can test this by using magic text and putting in 3 Days from Now.

Let me know if that works or if you have any other questions. Feel free to DM me here.

I understand now. This definitely gives me a way to make this work how I want it to. Thanks for the response!

Jumping in to follow the progress here. Also interested in setting both the default date for the component and for the linked simple list.

I was able to filter the list by adding a Start Date and End Date to my User table and setting those to selected date start and end of day times. I basically used this video as a guide: Advanced Calendar - Filtering - YouTube
Found it on this post: Advanced calendar strip no code monkey comp

Thanks @slothmike ,
Yeah that’s a quick demo video I made. We are actively trying to improve our help docs and videos now. In the coming week/s you will begin to see links in your component that will bring you to our site for help documents.

Once our update goes through, you will also be able to use Magic Text which will make your filtering much faster. @TomKrumins We are also adding Default Date to Advanced Calendar and giving more options (using a Text Date or Date&Time prompt). You should be able to see these features in the next 24-48 hours.

Appreciate all the updates, Michael!
