Offline Support.
I really need this feature. Please Up-vote everyone
Yes, Offline support is a valuable feature.
Totally agree, having offline function for a native app is really important. Many businesses use apps offline when they are out and about and when in the office sync, so that the employees aren’t using their data.
Offline would be needed while taking an order onsite or showing a listing from an Sqlite DB while no signal is available - would really be Top of the most important features to implement !
I’m specifically wanting this to save some external database data to the phone
This would be a key component to my apps feature set. Some cached data and the ability to submit data once a connection has been established. For example a form submission.
Hope this feature comes soon. Amazing to me that Adalo does not see this as a top priority - given that the vast majority of people do NOT have reliable 24/7 mobile access and often have super expensive data charges. Apps for the 1% is a pretty limited market.
In the app I am trying to build I need it to work offline and for the user to be able to store video data locally. These videos will be 3-6 minutes long and there is no need to upload them at all. App users won’t be interacting with other app users. The app should be able to source video files locally and play them. Is there anything like this planned? Otherwise I have to find another platform. =( and out of all the ones out there, Adalo is my favorite.
Agree local storage to makes sense can do quite easily even with PWAs now.
This just makes sense.
would it be possible with PWA as well?
Would love to be able to have some audio files saved for offline access like on a plane.
This feature would enable us to make apps for lots of small businesses!
This is a critical functionality to have since most of my users get charged by the minute for internet access and would be able to rely on occasional/manual db syncing.
I’m building my MVP with Adalo and this isn’t critical for that. However, when it comes time to do it for reals, this would be a deal-breaker for me.
Offline Support would be awesome. I work on a military app that might be used in area without coverage.
the only reason I am using Adalo instead of Bubble is because I (mistakenly it seems) thought that Adalo already had this functionality. I need my users in-app purchases to be available to them offline, otherwise no point.
Offline support is critical for our app (playing video lessons in a course). Many of our users want to watch lessons while on the go and may not have an active internet connection.
Now I would also like to have some data that drives the UI to be stored locally
