Publishing my App to 3 locations

I intend to publish my app to both App Stores, but I would also like to publish the app to my web address.

How difficult is it to publish to my web address and when is the best time to do so?

Also, does Adalo count a published app (that is to publish a single app to both app stores and the web) as 3 publishes….or 1 publish? I am on the Adalo PRO level.

Hi @ThunderBlade,

It would take a few minutes if you’re trying to connect to a custom domain (and a few hours for DNS propagation) and not to Adalo’s subdomain. This docs covers steps to understand things easier. : Publishing to the Web | Adalo Resources
Also this course recorded by Patrick Ford will help you too! : App Publishing

Most times I publish the web version first to get some quick early feedback but sometimes that will be later when features like IAP, Ads gets included in the app.

That would be an one published app. : Adalo Pricing: FAQs | Adalo Resources

Thank you and have a great day!

Just to clarify: it does not take a few hours for DNS records to be propagated. It may take a few hours for the cached records in the domain to refresh (and this depend on the record TTL).
For a completely fresh record which was never queried and never cached, everything’s working immediately.

Best,
Victor

@Dilon @Victor

Thank you both for the quick responses. I’m not quite ready to push the app anywhere, I was just curious because it will be coming soon. The times are fine as I am in no rush. I had done a little toying with DNS stuff years ago, so I am sure that I will get through it just fine.

Another Question…..

If I have 1 App to publish……but there are 2 separate section of the app (1 for subscription level users…the other strictly for customers), is it possible to have 2 separate icons on the app store for the same app….with the customer icon directing them to customer type screens and a user icon that directs the user to user type screens?

@ThunderBlade

Best,
Victor.
