The web app is already published in adalo domain, will there be a difference if I published it in an external website or it is the same?

I believe, you only have to link it to your custom/external domain and that’s it. Everything else remains the same. It will be automatically updated there. Or is your question different?

Nope. The custom domain is just for your branding purposes, otherwise the Adalo domain should be good enough for the web app to work.
