I have been following the directions on how to share database when creating a new app, when the new app is created I cannot see the database only the template database. I am creating a delivery service app, and I wanted to created a separate app for drivers where order information and status updates can be shared between apps

Welcome to the community 
You have to select blank app and share the Database. Because when you select a template and share the Database it’s appearing only that template Database. But if you created the app using a Template and added some collections and want to copy the same app then you can Copy the app. ( Gear icon Copy/Delete section and click copy)
