Specific search from drop down menu

Hello.

I am making an app for listing for rent.

I will have a search with all 3 dropdown menus to filter out the results on page 1, and display results on page 2.

When I try to filter the list from current listings - then equal to - then Dropdown menu from page 1, the result return no listings if the user does not select any of the choices from the dropdown menu.

Any help?

If I filter listings by “contains” it works, but obviously not what I am looking to do as two areas might have similar names or contain similar letters.

I have to filter by “is equal to” but if left blank, to return all listings
