Completely new to Adalo, but have managed to create a couple of screens.
My question is when I want to preview a screen it opens ut a new tab in my explorer instead of opening as an overlay. Also I cannot choose to see different devices/resolutions.
I cloned a template from Adalo, and on this template it opened up in overlay mode and let me choose different devices. But the newest device is back to iPhone 13.
Sorry if it’s a dumb question and I have tried to search for answers.
Can anyone guide me please? And also if it’s possible to create custom resolutions in preview?
Hi there. The overlay only existed in our legacy apps. The “new tab” previewer is the current version. There should be icons at the top allowing you to see your breakpoints if you’re in responsive mode. For mobile only mode, we do only have the one size preview at this time.
Thank you for your reply. I am in mobile only mode as far as I can tell. Will the screens which I create adapt to several devices/resulutions then?
Any Sections you use will be prebuilt to look great on every device. If you’re building your own UI, be sure to drag your screen width wider and narrower inside the builder to see how the components react, and go to the layout tab to change that behavior. Each component can be a fixed width or it can scale with the screen, it’s totally up to you.
