I am trying to use firebase as an external database for adalo and am having trouble figuring out how to do it.
I am trying to connect to firebase from an external colection. But I can’t find the API Base URL in firebase.

Hi,

I wouldn’t recommend using Firebase with Adalo, it’s better to use a SQL backend, like Xano, Backendless, or Supabase.

Personally, we’ve used supabase in the past with mixed results.

Is there a special reason why you don’t recommend Firebase?

Using firebase as your db is not recommended,

The cost will grow exponential and the feasibly and work in Adalo is not that good.
