What is your app-building process like? 🤔

So you’ve signed up for Adalo and created a new “blank” mobile app. What do you do next?

If you’re new to Adalo, you might be wondering how to get started. Here are a few tips:

First, take some time to think about what kind of app you want to create.

Answer these questions before creating your app:

  • What is the purpose of your app?
  • What features will it have?
  • What problem does your app solve?
  • How will it make your users’ lives easier?
  • What kind of design will your app have?
  • Will it be clean and minimalistic, or more playful and colorful?
  • Does your app require any 3rd-party integrations (email, SMS, databases, etc.)?
  • Do you need to recruit some help with building out any of the features?

Once you have a good idea of what your app will be like, it’s time to start building! Create one feature at a time, and test it out on your phone to make sure it works the way you want it to. Then, it’s time to get some testers involved. Show your app to friends, family, online colleagues, and strangers, and get their feedback.

  • What do they like?
  • What do they not like?
  • What’s confusing?
  • What would they like to see added or changed?

Use this feedback to improve your app, then rinse and repeat until you have a fully-functioning mobile app that you’re proud of!

Building a mobile app can seem daunting, but Adalo makes it easy. Follow these tips and you’ll be well on your way to creating the app of your dreams.
