2 quick notices about Media items & iOS builds

Hello Everybody, hope y’all doing well!

  1. We have improved how assets (media items) are handled, and moved from Imgix to Cloudflare. You would see cdn-uploads.adalo.com domain for user uploads in the database and this cdn-assets.adalo.com domain for uploads in the editor like uploaded image as the source in an image component. For this to take account, you would need a new build if you didn’t started a build after 2026-08-30. (Imgix with Adalo till December, 31st, 2026)

  2. Were you keep getting the below screenshot’s error? Apple recently changed how App Store Connect logins work and that broke fastlane, the tool we use to connect to Apple accounts. fastlane released a fix yesterday (Release 2.240.0 Improvements · fastlane/fastlane · GitHub), which the eng-team need to update fastlane on Adalo build servers to get this working again.
Andrii, a senior software engineer from the eng-team, pushed a quick fix that solved this issue yesterday and also now the eng-team, working on a much good fix which requires some other upgrades too.

Let me know if you got any questions, thank you and have a great day!

Hi @Dilon thanks for the update,

I have a question regarding the filters and effects that we had on imagix api, I have some projects that use rotation and blur effects on some images, will we have the equivalent from cloud flare?

I have this same question… I have an app that completely relies on the imgix api features. Will we lose this functionality?

+1.
I’ve checked in 1yr old app, image assets are delivered from
https://cdn-uploads.adalo.com/, modifications in URL seem to work, but it’d be great to get official clarification from Adalo.

Hi guys, thanks for raising this question!

It should work the same way, it doesn’t? If it is, can you guys share your app ID and image URL, and I can share with the team.

What kind of modifications, Victor?

I’ve asked for more information from Adalo CTO, Jimmy Noujaim and waiting for his response.

Thank you and have a great day!

@Dilon ImgIX API modifications, like &q=10, &h=200, etc.
