2 quick announcements!
- Ada (our AI builder) is rolling out!
Ada is currently deployed to 10% of user accounts and to our Experts!
We are slowing increasing roll out over the coming days to be sure we are capturing feedback and monitor usage.
Ada is free in beta, so feel free to test her out! There will be no hidden charges associated with her.
There is more development for her to go through–she cannot yet do custom actions, but will be able to soon! She can, however, do a lot of work for you, such as not just generating the database structure, collections and relationships you need, but also generating your screens, laying out components and making things look pretty good. As an example, she can apply settings to one navbar to all of your screen navbars, or only to the ones you tell her to change. She can also apply gradient backgrounds, generate dummy data for you to use and see what your app looks like in preview and on your device (or a family member’s or friend’s device).
As always, please keep the feedback flowing! Our team is constantly tuning her and we’ve had a lot of success with training her faster and faster. I can guarantee your feedback will go into that training!
- Function Hub has gone live!
Function Hub is also rolling out at the same time! This is an API you can use to do utility functions through custom actions. The documentation is here.
We’re super excited about this, and plan on having a number of releases roll out for this over the coming days. Luckily, the foundation our engineering team have created makes iterating on this API to create more functionality quite fast and easy, so–again–feedback will be implemented!
The team is very ‘heads down’ right now working away, but don’t be a stranger if there’s something you want added to Ada or Function Hub.
We’ve another series of features cooking right now in our labs, and can’t wait to share them with you once they’ve been fully tested.
