Hey all, exciting news today! We’re looking to open up beta testing with Ada, our AI Builder, in about a week’s time.
Our team has already been prompting complete app builds (with perfect database and relationships!) for a few weeks now, and we’re approaching the point of needing some Adalo makers to kick the tires and try to break stuff
The full, glorious Ada experience is still under development, graphically speaking and with some onboarding efficiecies, but functionally she’s doing an amazing job already. She may ask questions about data structure and collection names that she won’t in the V1 that goes to production, but you’ll very quickly understand the huge utility she’ll bring.
At the moment, I’m super happy, but our engineers want to add some other functionality to ensure we’re good to go. You’ll be able to prompt to full app built in about 40 seconds. And you get a QR code immediately to preview the app on your device. You’ll then be able to prompt for Ada to change anything, and she does it extremely well that we’ve seen.
If you’d like to be a beta tester, please DM me with your email address! You’ll be invited to one of our staging servers where you can jump right in. We need your feedback to ensure Ada isn’t just an AI stick on a no-code platform, but actually does what you want and saves you days of building.
And yes - Ada will become available for all existing apps too, so editing them via prompts will be possible soon
In terms of pricing - we’re doing our best to stick to our commitment to not give any bill shock (read: the death of App Action usage charges). So we’re experimenting with how we can give makers the ability to minimize costs. We think we’ve done something pretty clever in that regard, and that’s why we need you all testing it out!
One other thing! Many people have expressed concern AI building will take away from Adalo’s simplicity. It won’t! The full design suite you currently have will remain available to you. So you can prompt to build, prompt to edit, or edit yourself with all your existing tools.
I agree, the magic of Adalo is the manual construction. ai is a nice addition.
There are a lot of more important things (components, more capabilities, lists with more options, a more complex database that will prevent us from switching to xano and more)
I hear you. We’ve made great strides in components, as you’ll soon see and Function Hub is being documented. Google Sheets as a DB endpoint will also be coming out in Beta (Sheetbridge). Database complexity - hear you.

As a person who played with AI Ada, it’s super duper cool and I’m pretty confident that once you give it a go, your perspective will shift in a really positive way. Not only AI Ada, team has put much hard work over the past few months to increase apps performance, speed by updating avaiable services and honestly you can see the great outcome which I personally see too!!!
