Thanks @AKyle, you’re a genius! I’m going to look into Cloudflare again because I’ve never used it. The idea is that it executes actions in the background and returns the final result?

@Santiago You are correct! Doing this opens the door to lots of possibilities, because you can write your own code (or AI can, I use Claude a lot!) and get a JSON response back that you can use with magic text in your app.

I love that in other apps we did another thing on a different server and brought the final result… I’m going to investigate this further… what are the costs like?

Cost depends on usage, but Cloudflare gives generous amounts.

Part 3 - Scheduling Notifications

Great, I have two questions:

  1. For scheduled messages, does Adalo send them even when I’m not using the app? In other words, do I not have to log into the admin panel? Does it send them automatically?

  2. Often, when we have an app with three other apps sharing a database and we want to send the screen to another app, the user entry shows up as “all [untitled]” and I’m not sure if that’s working.

Hi @Santiago,

Notifications should send automatically when the scheduled date meets.

If the apps connected with the same database, selection should stay the same in the field. If you copy-paste a screen from an app to another app which is not connected with the same database, it would look like this and you can select users > all, again in that field.
