I’m experiencing a recurring crash in my Adalo app and I’m trying to understand whether this is a known issue or if others have seen something similar.
My app crashes very often when the phone screen is locked or when the app goes into the background. In some cases, the screen goes black briefly and then the app seems to close or returns to the lock screen.
This seems to happen especially when audio is involved, so I’m wondering if it could be related to background audio, the audio player, or how Adalo handles the app when the device is locked.
What happens:
the app is open and running normally
I lock the phone screen
after a while, when returning to the app, it has crashed or closed
sometimes there is a brief black screen before it exits
What I suspect:
It may be related to:
audio playing while the phone is locked
the app moving to the background
remote audio files
screen transitions or heavier screens combined with audio
Has anyone experienced this before?
Did you find out whether this is an Adalo issue, a native iOS/Android issue, or something related to the audio player component?
Any ideas, similar experiences, or fixes would be really appreciated.
