Best service to use for automated emails

Hello

We’re currently in the process of setting up our welcome emails etc. which we’re automating via Zapier

Does anyone have any recommendations as to a good service where you can personalise the emails etc. We’re considering MailChimp and are wondering if there are any others out there?
