Can Adalo handle a large community?

I am the founder of a brand called Sole Sister Ramblers, a women’s active lifestyle brand and community that is preparing to launch a mobile app we have been building in Adalo.

We are about half way through building but our community is growing very big very fast (hosted in WhatsApp groups and we have about 40,000 group members).

Here is our situation:

We have an existing community of engaged women across Canada, the UK, and beyond. Based on our current growth trajectory and planned launch strategy, we anticipate reaching 30,000 users shortly after launch the app and scaling to 100,000 within 2 years.

Our app includes the following features:

  • Local walking groups (we call them Sole Circles) with member-led events - members post adn sign up for activities like walk, each Sole Circles has very active chatting groups where members plan activities and socialize
  • A global social feed
  • Scheduled content pushed into groups
  • Virtual challenges with member participation and tracking

My specific questions are:

  1. Can Adalo reliably handle 40,000 active users and beyond with this feature set running simultaneously?
  2. What does performance look like at that scale — can a community this size running successfully on the platform?
