Can I use a Google Fonts barcode font to display a barcode on the user profile screen?

I intend to use my customers profile screen as a member ID, which they will display when availing of services in my store.

Each member has a member number, which I would like to display as a scannable barcode on their profile screen.

Google Fonts has several barcode fonts available. Can I set this field to use one of those fonts, and display the number as a barcode?

Thanks so much for any help.

Hi @MikesClub,

Welcome to the forum!

I don’t think you will be able to easily use Google Fonts to display barcode. Adalo App builder has 2 options - to select the Header font and Body font. Changing Body font to one of the barcode fonts didn’t work for me; moreover, if it worked, the result would be that all text in Body font would have changed to barcodes.

As an alternative - you can use QR codes to display this info, there are 2 components on the Marketplace which can generate QRs.
For barcodes as I think you will have to use some 3rd party services like Integromat.

Best regards, Victor.

Thanks. That’s about what I thought. I might go with a QR code, but I’ll probably just put a barcode image in each user’s database line. The barcode would just be a static member number. It wouldn’t change over time. Thanks so much!
